In October of 2014, Slow Food Cincinnati hosted a beautifully crafted “Good, Clean and Fair” Dinner at Nectar Restaurant that honored our 2014 Snail of Approval Award Winners.
We are so pleased to announce our 2014 Snail of Approval Award Winners: Chef Julie Francis of Nectar Restaurant (who made a stellar meal for our guests), Bill and Beth Dean of Dean Family Farm (who provided the delicious Ark of Taste, Red Wattle Pork, and Vicky Tewes of Thistlehair Farm (who provided the tantalizing turnips for the soup. Congrats to all of our winners!! Each of these award winner exemplify Slow Food’s mission and we strive to promote all of the great farmers, restaurants, chefs, and food artisans that hold true to these ideals.
